In partnership with Ohio University, the Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools (CORAS) is comprised of 110 school districts in Appalachia with a mission to advocate for and support the public schools of the region in the continuous improvement to education opportunities in the region,

Memorial Health System

In partnership with Memorial Health System and Akron Children's Hospital, Sunday Creek Horizons led an advocacy effort to secure $30 million from the State of Ohio to build a Women's and Children's Hospital in Belpre - the first and only facility of its kind in the region, and the largest-ever state award to a hospital facility.

Appalachian Children Coalition

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sunday Creek Horizons convened stakeholders from across Appalachian Ohio to create the ACC. Now, they have secured more then $100 million for kids in Appalachia since 2021 -- including the largest investment in school health in Ohio history.

Ohio Energy Conference

In partnership with the Energy Coalition of Ohio to host the annual Ohio Energy Conference - a state-wide collaboration focusing on bringing together public and private leaders from Ohio’s Energy sector. In the years since we have held highly successful in-person conferences growing steadily each year.
