Andy Kostival

Andy Kostival is a fourth generation resident of Southeast Ohio, with strong ties to individuals and communities throughout the region. Born and raised in Athens, Ohio, Andy has a deep-rooted passion and desire to serve the region and see its people prosper.

Andy graduated from Ohio University in the spring of 2021 with honors, earning a B.A. in Economics, a B.A. in Spanish, and Certifications in Latin American Studies and European Studies. Andy’s studies have taken him around the globe and have provided him with many valuable experiences, opportunities and perspectives that have shaped his intellectual and educational journey.

While studying at Ohio University, Andy plugged into his community both as a student and citizen. He was a member of multiple on-campus student organizations, led several community engagement projects and gained experience in political campaigning and issue advocacy.

Andy adds skills in community and economic development, collaboration, leadership, research, writing, and creativity to the experienced team at Sunday Creek Horizons. During his internship with Sunday Creek over the summer of 2020 and in his role as Associate throughout his senior year, Andy gained valuable experience and developed meaningful relationships, while assisting with daily company operations and the execution of a wide array of projects. Upon graduating, Andy chose to continue working for Sunday Creek Horizons and has since continued his work with the firm as a Project Manager. Andy has led on numerous client-specific projects and community and economic development initiatives, helping to bring tens of millions of dollars in investment to the clients, communities, and organizations he has served.
